My Las Vegas Trip

Mr. A and I went to Las Vegas last week (Aug 18-21).
The Vegas trip is a grad gift from Mr. A (thank you :3)
It was an amazing experience, especially when you can explore an unfamiliar place with your significant other.

Day 1:
We arrived at our hotel around late afternoon.

Off to explore! First stop.. M&M World :D

Look at all those chocolate, every single color you can think of!

Second, MGM Grand Hotel & Casino.

Next, we went to Hershey's Chocolate World :D
*happiness~*

Right next to the building is a little shop called Stupidiotic. They sell some pretty humorous stuff. It's definitely a store you should go in and have a look.

Afterwards we went to eat dinner at the buffet in Monte Carlo, then we attended the Blue Man Group show.

...Because taking normal pictures is too mainstream.

Day 2:
The next day we went to the Buffet at Bellagio for brunch. There's a (free) tram that connects Monte Carlo to Bellagio, so convenient! We visited the Bellagio Botanical Garden to ease our full bellies.

There's some really cute birds in there.

The Bellagio lobby looks stunning, and it's no surprise why it's a Las Vegas attraction...

...look at that ceiling.

Just LOOK.

The Jean Philippe Patisserie in Bellagio have some really yummy-looking sweets, and an amazing chocolate fountain. I wanted to get something but I was full :(

Afterwards we went to take the bus to go to the North Las Vegas Premium Outlet.

Still waiting, so I'll take some pics to kill some time. Thankfully the bus is pretty frequent.

Bellagio

We went to Gordon Ramsay Pub and Grill in Caesars Palace for dinner to celebrate our 11 months. Since we were in Caesars Palace, we went to explore and take pictures.

Funny thing happened. After this picture with Pegasus, I told Mr.A I'll do one last pose. I did the karate crane pose (like I'd just said, normal pics are too mainstream) and Mr.A didn't take the picture. (Please don't judge me...)

Afterwards we went to the Ferris wheel, the High Roller, at The Linq to enjoy the night view of the Strip.

The Higher Roller makes one full round in 30 minutes; it does not stop so you have to run into the 'pod'. Don't worry, there's a net underneath... just in case.

Getting higher...

...almost...

...and we're at the top!

On the way to the Higher Roller, we passed by a lot of awesome street art.

As we were walking back, we noticed a place called Fotobar. You can print polaroid prints with pictures from your phone. They also have an option to have bigger prints. They're very cute and good for keepsakes but we weren't done with taking pictures, and I might go overboard. :P

On our way back, we pass by Caesars Palace so we took some more pictures.

These umbrellas were in Bellagio, I didn't see them until we went back to Bellagio to take the tram home.

Day 3:
Our last day :(
We went to Mandalay Bay for a lunch buffet. We limit ourselves to one buffet a day to not go overboard on stuffing ourselves.

After the buffet we went to the Shark Reef.

Right next to Mandalay Bay is Luxor.

We later went to the Fashion Show Mall to buy the last bits and bobs. I actually didn't get anything at the Outlet (I know, shocking right?) so I got myself a Mini M.A.C. in black at Saks. I always wanted a small black bag, and this is the perfect size. A bonus is that the strap is convertible.

And it has little gold studs on the bottom! The Gold hardware makes it so edgy~

Mr.A got me a bag as well (thank you!). He chose this bag (Too Hot to Handle Lea) when we walked into the Nordstrom section. I agree to get another black bag because it's a versatile color, and I really like the size and shape of it. I haven't used it yet though! (can't wait, but kinda nervous I'll get it dirty)

After the big purchase, we went to the Children's Place to get some clothes for his niece and nephew. We picked up our "O" Cirque du Soleil tickets and got ourselves a BLT sandwich for dinner at a small sandwich shop right next to the ticket booth. Just to avoid missing the showtime.

We took the tram back to Monte Carlo, Mr. A went to the front desk to arrange our airport shuttle while I brought our bags up to our room. We met up downstairs to go get some gelato at BLVD Creamery and went to the ABC store to get something for his coworker.

The gelato we got is American pie with a pistachio-brown sugar(?) topping.

Our first trip together was awesome! I wish it was longer- hopefully we can go on another trip soon, but maybe another place for us to explore. :)
