So on Wednesday it snowed then rained the whole day, making a ginormous blanket of slush;That's suppose to be good news (the rain, I mean) but then the storm drain got plugged by the slush, so I had to shovel for the rain to get to the drain.

The Real Story Behind Totoro

You might remember Totoro, the big grey furry raccon(?)-like creature in the Japanese animation 'Tonari no Totoro' ( English title: My Neighbour Totoro'). The other characters that accompany Totoro looks very cute, and the plot is quite a typical plot for Japanese animations in general but this family movie isn't as a kid-friendly movie as everyone thinks it is.

Supporting Movember like a sir ={

As most of you might know already, Movember is a month-long event during the month of November to raise awareness of prostate cancer and other male cancer initiatives. Guys would grow out a moustache to help support this event.

Summer coming to it's end

Overall, my summer is pretty awesome. I had a couple sleepovers and went out with Hitler to go to Flo, and a little date with Maiko :)

end-of-month PLOG: July 2012

July was pretty hectic. 

A close friend just graduated from Uni and moved back to HK. Before Eu left, we had a farewell hotpot dinner and went to a dessert house. Eu got me some macaroons as a goodbye gift =]

Officially summer ☼

The sun has been blazing hot these couple of weeks.

I'm happy that it's all sunny and everything, but I hate the heat and the sweat =__=

yeah..I'm kinda contradicting to myself, I guess.

June PLOG (plus EOMP for May)

Summer school started in May...that's why there wasn't a EOMP (end-of-month plog) for May  *sorry* ヽ(ﾟДﾟ)ﾉ


Vancouver is mostly rain...so you can only catch a glimpse of the sun once in a while. Aside from the seasonal allergies, I really enjoy the pretty cherry blossoms. It gives some life to the wet and dreary streets of Vancity, don't you think?

The weather has gotten less dingy and more sunny ^^
Too bad allergies are acting up... I woke up with huge swollen rashes on my hands, ankles and arms ><" I have no idea what caused it, but I didn't even go outside at all that day. However, I did vacuum the carpet and opened my window to let some fresh air in; I think it's because I opened the window.. (=3=)

There were light showers throughout the day, quite gloomy...TODAY is damn sunny with a blue sky >=(

So yesterday I went out with a friend (let's call her Maiko) to get her next month's bus pass and headed straight to Metrotown afterwards. Maiko didn't eat breakfast yet so we went to Crystal Mall and she got an omelette, then we chatted a bit before walking a round and headed back to Metrotown.
