I'm Back! + Kiehl's haul: Update and Review

...in school.

Overall my summer didn't start out that great, but it turned out better than expected.
Mostly I've been taking summer courses and hung out with friends.

After the finals, we partied hard. Then I made another visit to Mimibuloveme again with Maiko.

We also went shopping at Kiehl's.
Kiehl's had a $10 off coupon if we buy two items or more.

Kiehl's Rare Earth Pore Cleansing Masque
I ran out of my usual toner, so I settled with the Cucumber toner. It feels slightly tingly after application; not as great as the one I used to have but it gets the job done.

I specifically went to Kiehl's for this serum. Unfortunately, I got some dark spots/ pigmentation from being in the sun, as well as some old acne scars on my cheeks. The sales said I won't see any immediate results (except a bright complexion), and I might have to use it for at least 2 months to see any significant results on my dark spots.

I have yet to try the masque though...

They were also having another promotion where you get this sample box if you buy 2 or more full-size products. Yay freebies! Also have not tried these either but the mist smells really fresh~
Rosa Artica Youth Regenerating Cream
Nashi Blossom & Pink Grapefruit Aromatic Mist
Skin Rescuer Stress-minimizing Daily Hydrator

I heard a lot about the Real Techniques brushes so I got myself the travel essentials. The brushes are really soft but I prefer my ecotools kabuki for putting on setting powder, rather than the Real Techniques multi-task brush (pink ferrule). I think it would be great for a powder blush, but it's not dense enough (IMO).

I got them at London Drugs (Granville St location).

The shadow brush had a hair sticking out :(
I carefully trimmed that away, and so far the bristles are not coming out after washing them.
